Every year, our firefighters hit the streets and visit the multi-tenant residential buildings and offer free smoke detector and CO detector checks. We will come in and check all of your detectors and ensure they have working batteries and are in the safest location for your residence.

 Free to residents who may live alone or may be handicap, we offer a key box that will be placed on the outside of your home. Only the Fire Department has the key to this box and we can access it in the event we need to make entry into your home to assist you

 A program where you the citizen, adopt a fire hydrant near your home. When adopting, you pledge to help us keep it clear from snow in the winter time and to report any damage that may occur to it throughout the year. You are welcome to customize your hydrant with paint and an appropriate design.

We give out a handout that you can fill out all of your medical history on along with emergency contacts. You place it on your refrigerator and in the event of an emergency, we can access your medical information.
